Unboxed to full use, 10 minutes. The suction cup option was what I needed so, I can't comment on the vent clip. I drive from job site to job site all week and my phone is always charged. Brilliant. No app needed. No firmware whatsoever. A great product.

Best purchase as far as phone holders are concerned. Quality is great, very easy to install, and compared to previous products this holder doesn't damage your air vents. A small issue with my phone case as the material was getting caught and the holder wouldn't close but other than that great product.
